I write user documentation for a number of major lighting industry manufacturers. My background in lighting and active work on current events is very useful in making sure that a technician at the sharp end can find the information they need to know.

I have been working with Avolites for over 20 years writing and maintaining the user manuals for all their consoles, starting with the Azure and Pearl 2000, in paper and digital format. 

I also write and update manuals for several other lighting manufacturers who don't have in-house documentation authors. This includes creating graphics from pre-production photography and CAD images, and editing DMX personality tables.
